Join us for a workshop to answer all of your questions about Indoor Air Quality! During this presentation David Sasse of Healthy Building Science will define IAQ, its causes, and unique IAQ concerns for residences (vs. commercial buildings). We will discuss inspection & testing techniques for determining the state of Interior Air Quality in a space, strategies for the mitigation of contaminants, as well as design concerns and material selection when building or remodeling to improve IAQ. Both single and multifamily issues will be addressed. We look forward to seeing you there - food is provided!

Cancellation Policy:  No refunds will be given for cancellations or no-shows due to our limited venue capacity. Registered attendees can transfer their credit to another colleague (i.e. go in their place) for the same Workshop - not for another Workshop.

Speaker Information:

   David Sasse

David is a Certified Microbial Investigator (CMI) and Indoor Environmentalist (CIE) Board-awarded by the American Council for Accredited Certification. David began at Healthy Building Science with a background in all phases of property development and management. David has worked with architects, planners, designers & contractors and property owners giving him a deep practical understanding of building technology and environmental science. He has also performed environmental inspections in industrial, commercial, and residential settings. This knowledge of building construction and environmental science makes for a unique blend, and enables David to identify problems in buildings sometimes before they are even visible. David holds two degrees from the University of California at San Diego: one BS in General Biology/Biochemistry, and a BA Major in Music Performance with a minor in Economics.
