Topic: The Other Solar: Hot Water for Domestic and Space Heating Uses

Description: In this presentation, there will be a series of short presentations as well as a panel discussion on solar hot water issues. George will discuss why and when it makes sense to choose a solar hot water. He will cover system types, freeze protection strategies, glycol vs. water, tank and back up heating systems as well as how to use solar hot water for space heating, including different types of heating systems. He will also cover the Federal Tax Credit, the new Rebate program, and GreenPoint Rating Credits.
