Recertification Information - For ALL Build It Green Credentials

In order for the Certified Green Building Professional (CGBP) and Certified GreenPoint Rated (GPR) programs to maintain strong credibility in the marketplace and to ensure graduates are current with the latest advances in green building, Build It Green established a recertification requirement.
 
All CGBPs and GPRs must comply with the recertification criteria outlined through the links below to maintain certification status.  Both certications are valid for two years from issuance of the original certification

The online Continuing Education Unit (CEU) tracking system can be used to track CEUs inside and outside of Build It Green programs.  Once the CEUs have been recorded and approved, applicants need to list these on their Application form.

The online or printed Recertification Applications can be used for recertifying for CGBP, GPR, or both.
Applicants need only submit ONE processing fee and follow the guidelines for the most recent certification achieved.  One Application, One Fee, One set of CEUs; Raters only One set of Ratings OR One Exam. 
 
All applicants must commit to the processing an/or penalty fees and complete 16 CEUs every two years.
