Home Energy Retrofit Programs for Local Government

According to the California Air Resources Board, 70% of the 13 million existing single-family homes in California were built prior to 1978, before the advent of modern energy codes. The existing California home market provides a huge opportunity to significantly reduce energy demands and related environmental impacts from housing, which will in turn reduce greenhouse gas emissions tied to building energy use.
