Builder Guidance for Emergency Water Mandate

Builders and contractors: Will you be in compliance with the new mandate from the State Water Resources Control Board, announced May 29? For new single family homes, the CALGreen water-efficient landscape requirements have been tightened (water budgets dropped from .7 to .55) due to the drought crisis. That means your landscape designs could be out of date when you pull a permit after June 1.
