Overview


This 2.5-day training course introduces you to all GreenPoint Rated systems and includes basic policies and procedures, program requirements, verifications of select measures, and the differing roles of advisors and raters. You will also learn about the GreenPoint Rated Climate Calculator.

Requirements

You must apply to the GreenPoint Rated Program and receive eligibility verification before registering for a training.

You must also have passed GreenPoint Rated CORE with 80% or higher to move onto the GreenPoint Rated New Home training.

Exam Details

The plan exam will begin at 3:00 pm on Friday, September 27th.

The field exam will begin at 8 am on Saturday, September 28th.

Marc Richmond

Practica Consulting

Marc Richmond has been involved in the construction industry since the late '80s, both as a builder and a green building consultant. His depth of experience in developing and implementing green building programs both for government agencies, non-profits and within private firms is significant. He develops comprehensive green building educational programs, helps professionals be effective at their green building efforts, and teaches consumers to make good purchasing decisions. Marc spurs on market transformation by bringing together stakeholders and effectively educating them on their role and benefit in the transformation. He specializes in designing green building tools, rating systems, and training programs that are understandable, buildable for professionals, and valued by consumers. He highly values clear guidelines, good writing, construction details, and effective marketing. His experience as a builder, businessperson, educator, and green building program manager makes him focus on simple solutions that will make the target audience take the actions that are needed.


Amy Dryden

Build It Green

Amy Dryden is a Certified Green Building Professional, a Certified GreenPoint Rater, a LEED-AP, and a HERS rater and has completed work in each capacity. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Boston University and a Master in Landscape Architecture and a Master in City Planning from UC Berkeley.
