Information from Website Browsers
Some web pages created by Build It Green use “cookies”, which are small text files that may be placed on your hard disk for record-keeping purposes. - For those who work with our organization, as members, clients, partners, or via attending trainings, workshops, events, etc., we may collect your name, company name, telephone number, email address, and postal address, to maintain communications and keep you up to date on our programs and events.
When you use the Build It Green Site, we make good faith efforts to provide you with access to your personal information and either to correct this data if it is inaccurate or to delete such data at your request if it is not for legitimate business purposes. We may only disclose your information to third parties if we determine that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with the law; (b) protect any person from death or serious bodily injury; (c) prevent fraud or abuse of Build It Green or our users; or (d) protect Build It Green’s property rights.
Build It Green will not send you any unsolicited information, including unsolicited email regarding any commercial offers or advertisements at any time. We value the relationships we have with our customers and future customers, so we respect these concerns. Analytics/ Log Files
As is true of most web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser or device type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.
We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. This information enables us to make ongoing improvements to the site, to optimize the experience of our site users.
Social Media (Features) and Widgets
Our Web site includes Social Media Features, such as the Facebook Like button and Widgets, such as the Share this button or interactive mini-programs that run on our site. Build It Green complies with the CAN-SPAM Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and the Mobile Marketing Association´s Code of Conduct.
Build It Green complies with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA). Our organization does not track its website users over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising and therefore does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. However, some third-party sites do keep track of your browsing activities when they serve you content, which enables them to tailor what they present to you. If you are visiting such sites, you may set the DNT signal on your browser so that third parties (particularly advertisers) know you do not want to be tracked.
Build It Green complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act – our organization does not target its offerings toward, and does not knowingly collect any personal information from, users under 13 years of age.

Linked sites are not under the control of Build It Green. Therefore, Build It Green is not responsible or liable for the contents of any linked site or any link contained in a linked site. Links are provided to you as a convenience, and the inclusion of any link does not imply the endorsement of the site by Build It Green.
